A deep-thinking creative with over 8 years in design and a background in computer science and cultural anthropology. I specialize in human-computer interaction (HCI) and user experience (UX). I grew up in the mid-west and enjoy keeping a bit of country in my life.

EXPERIENCE

UX Design Immersive Instructor 
2016-present 
Create and deliver lesson plans, lectures, and workshops to teach core skills that make up the entire user experience design process. From research and ideation to prototyping and testing, GA's user experience design training aims to solve design problems using proven skills and methods. Classes run for 10-weeks each. Taught 6 cohorts, over 100 students. 

CARESTREAM DENTAL, LLC 
Senior Interaction Designer

Create and define wireframes, UX style guides, components library, facilitate pivot to HTML5. Role included user research, write-up, and communication of findings. Trained coworkers in HTML5/ CSS3/ Angular/D3.js. Collaborated with engineers using Angular, Bootstrap, and jQuery.

Designed novel user experiences for cross-platform and platform specific devices, typically iOS, including iPad, and desktop. Researched and designed 20 products over 18 months.
